Cool old Datsun with a lot of aftermarket parts installed.
Rebuilt 280zx turbo engine with a little over 1000 miles on it. New pistons, bearings, seals, ARP head studs, etc…
Tomei Limited Slip R200 Differential,
Megan Racing Coilovers,
Full Poly Bushings.
Runs great, but a bit rich. Next plans were to go aftermarket ECU to add some tunability, but it’s totally drivable as is with the 83 280zxt ECM.
Great car, but I bought a 72 and want a different project.
Will be sad to see it go, but if you’re looking for a great Z to continue customizing, this car would be great.
Open to reasonable offers, but don’t bother with the low balls. The car has some rust, but not bad at all compared to some of the heaps I’ve seen lately selling for ridiculous prices.
Will need paint and body work in the next few years, and the interior is a bit rough.
Hit me up with any questions, I know the car inside and out and will be happy to answer anything.\
No surprises, full list of my next steps if I were to keep the car (drives great as is, but any 40 year old car needs work)
Needs done soon:
Replace Rear Shocks
Change Transmission Oil
Mount ECM Properly (planned on switching to mega squirt so it is not permanently installed)
Properly mount Oil Cooler
Retorque Suspension with poly bushings, just to be safe
Rust Repair (hood hinge area and dog leg mainly)
Body work and paint (add air dam)
Brake Master Cylinder (has slow leak)
Clips for Stainless Steel brake lines
Interior panels (steering column, etc) Included, just need new rivets
Heater core and climate control vacuum (replacement heater core that will be included)
Upgrade clutch and check rear main seal.
Upgrade Cooling system to handle turbo heat
Future upgrades (optional)
Modern ECM, such as Haltech or Megasquirt
Rewire Fusible Links with Modern Fusebox
Upgrade Fuel Pump
Upgrade to “Palnet” style fuel rail
Electronic Boost Control
