More Details & Pictures

Up for sale is my 1975 Datsun 280z…’The Rotsun’.

This is a clean title, very minimal rust, Arizona chassis. I picked this car up as a weekend project and tackled nearly everything on the car (minus bodywork). Floor pan rust was completed, but there are three small areas of rust remaining on the front fenders and firewall (pictured). Below is a list of items that have been done to this Z, but there are many more items that I may have missed. I also have a build thread that goes into detail of the cars progress from day one. Please reach out with any questions, or if you want to read the build (Facebook doesn’t like links). Serious inquiries only please.

L28 with flat top pistons, N42 head, 10:1 compression
Triple Mikuni PHH 44 carbs
MSA 6-2 header
Aluminum radiator and electric fans
280zx close ratio 5 speed transmission
Full poly bushings
Koni Yellow struts on lowering springs
Apex Engineering rear lower control arms
Xenon Front valance
Sparco Sprint Seats with OMP 6 point harnesses
Chester and Herod Auto carpet kit
Techno Toy Tuning Harness Bar
Fully redone wiring harness and new fuse block
New dash cap
Various Skillard interior pieces: Door panels, kick plates, spare tire cover, door pulls, etc.
Z-Story muffler
New Konig Rewind wheels wrapped in Toyo R888R tires
APR carbon door mirrors
Datsun Spirit Spark Plug Wires

Runs and drives great. Was planning to set this up as a weekend track car but ran out of room to work on this. Included in the sale is the original rear hatch door, 4 speed transmission, lower control arms, and various trim pieces. Nearly every item has been replaced on this car from brake lines, fuel lines, fuel pump, too much to list. All gauges work minus the clock and amp meter.

Keep it as is for the Rotsun look or give it the paint job it deserves!
